Dear Valued Customer,

We want to keep you up to date with the ongoing transformation programs that the Bank is undertaking. One of the objectives of Turkish Bank’s Digital Transformation Program, which started a couple of years ago, is to give more flexibility to our customers on how they interact with the Bank and our staff. Aligned to this is the implementation of a new branch model, where the size, format and products and services we offer will be enhanced.

In this context, we have reviewed our Branch Network and have taken the decision to merge two Branches, Dalston and Edmonton, under our Harringay Branch on 12th June 2020. In due course, the Harringay Branch will be upgraded into a ‘Super Service Centre’.

The new service approach will respond to the changes in the way our customers are choosing to use our branches. The increasing use of technology and digitalisation in banking has led to significant changes in the customer preferences and the way they can access banking services in recent years. Customers can now easily manage their banking transactions through internet banking, call centres or other alternative digital channels. TBUK has therefore been heavily investing in its Digital Transformation Program by joining the Payment Schemes as a direct member and further investing in Online Banking services and Open Banking platform to give more freedom to our customers in the way they bank with us.

As part of our broader commitment to the community, our branches in London Bridge and Palmers Green will continue to serve our customers, with some changes in their service model.

Having recently celebrated its 46th year in the UK, Turkish Bank UK remains fully committed to serve its customers and further increase its engagement with the Turkish speaking community living in this country. We are looking forward to celebrating our 50th anniversary in the year 2024.

If you have any further questions on our new Branch Model, or any other topics, please feel free to reach out to your Customer Service Representative at your Branch. You may also call our Customer Contact Centre at 0800 032 04 80 or email us at info@turkishbank.co.uk.

We appreciate your continued business and trust in us as we work to efficiently serve your financial needs into the future.

Yours sincerely,

Steven Bennett
Chief Executive Officer
